Vladivostok – Terney village – Sikhote-Alin – Kema river
For more than 150 years Vladivostok has been an eastern outpost of Russia and one the of the largest country’s seaports. Travelers compare the city to Napoli or San-Francisco due to its landscape and location by the Zolotoy Rog bay. Another treasure of the region is a biosphere reserve Sikhote-Alin, where famous Russian taiga and endemic Amur tigers are carefully preserved. Welcome to the Russian Far East with its unique nature and history.
DAY 1
- Arrival in Vladivostok.
- Breakfast at the cafe.
- Check-in to a hotel
- City tour (by bus and cable car). Vladivostok is a final stop of the famous Trans-Siberian railway, a large marine port and naval base of the Russian Pacific fleet. During the hour you will see historical and modern landmarks which make this city so special.
- Lunch
- Visit to Submarine C-56 which was the most victorious soviet submarine in the World War II and now is a museum.
DAY 2
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Tour to the Russky Island – the southernmost point of Vladivostok and one of the most interesting locations of the modern city. You will see the international business center built for the APEC summit in 2012, the Russky bridge, the Voroshilov Artillery Battery and more.
- Lunch
- Free time in Vladivostok
DAY 3
- Breakfast & check-out of the hotel. Transfer to the airport.
- A flight from Vladivostok to Terney village.
- Transfer to the hotel & check-in.
- Dinner.
- Sightseeing tour in Terney with a stop at the observation desk.
- Tour to the Cape North, where the Sikhote-Alin Reserve is located. Fauna of this place includes various animals – larga seals, wild boars, dapple deer, wapiti, hares, roe deer, bears and tigers. Seals are here all year round, and during their migration period you can see up to 400 of these animals gathered.
- Return to the hotel in Terney.
- Dinner.
DAY 4
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Tour to the river Kema. You will see picturesque landscapes of the Far East taiga and the purest water of the river with its famous extreme rapids. The tour includes a delicious taiga lunch and a bonfire.
- Return to the hotel in Terney.
DAY 5
- Breakfast
- Tour to the Sikhote-Alin Reserve and Blagodatnoye Lake. The lake is a real gem of the Sikhote-Alin Reserve and a wonderful natural phenomenon that created a lake as a part of the sea coast. You will discover the unique ecosystem with relict meadows and rare species of plants.
- Transfer to the airport.
- A flight from Terney to Vladivostok.
