The museum exposition tells in detail the history of the appearance of traditional drinks in Russia. Visitors are invited to go through the whole «Great Way of the National Drink» – from traditional products of «natural fermentation» of honey, kvass and birch bark (until the 14th century) and the first experiments with crops in the Middle Ages – to Dmitry Mendeleev writing his dissertation on the national drink. The visit to the museum ends with a tasting of the drink: at a buffet table, served with misty faceted glasses and accompanied also by traditional snacks.

The Savior on the Blood Cathedral or Church of the Resurrection of Christ was built on the site of the attempt on the Russian emperor Alexander II – on the banks of the Griboedov Canal in 1883-1907. To this day, a part of the pavement, on which the emperor fell, has been preserved under the arch of the cathedral. Inside the cathedral is more like a mosaic box – about 6500 square meters of mosaics cover the walls, arches and even the floor of the cathedral.

At the Petrograd embankment the legendary Aurora cruiser – a floating museum stands in an eternal berth. Today the exposition of the museum is available for everyone to see.
